Body Art
Like prenatal belly art, body art has been around for centuries. It has been used by many cultures to adorn the body for ceremonies and to signify one's place in society. Today, body art is used by companies to promote a product or to transform individuals for photo shoots or parties.
I designed and painted the above images for the Today's Woman Magazine contest, "Show Us Your 18" and... I was the first place winner!
The first image appears in the December issue of Today's Woman magazine.

I used Mehron Paradise Paints and Wolfe FX paint for this design.
